Production process

Raw material preparation:
High-purity quartz and high-quality coke are selected as the main raw materials. The silicon dioxide content in quartz is generally required to be above 99%. The fixed carbon content and ash content of coke are also strictly required to ensure the quality of silicon metal.

Smelting:
Add the pre-treated quartz and coke into the submerged arc furnace in a certain proportion, and carry out reduction reaction under high temperature conditions, so that the silicon dioxide in the quartz is reduced to silicon by coke, and the generated silicon liquid gathers at the bottom of the furnace.

Refining:
Refining the crude silicon obtained by smelting, further remove impurities in it by blowing and stirring, adding refining agents, etc., and improve the purity of silicon.

Casting:
Pour the refined silicon liquid into a specific mold, solidify and shape it under natural cooling or forced cooling conditions, and obtain silicon metal lumps.

Crushing and screening:
