Ferrosilicon is an important ferro alloy mainly used in the steel industry. Ferrosilicon 70 (usually indicating a silicon content of about 70%) is a special type. FeSi 70 is mainly composed of iron and silicon. Its silicon content is approximately 70%.It also usually contains small amounts of aluminum, calcium, magnesium, carbon and other elements, which may affect its performance and use.

 

According to relevant standards, the silicon content of 70 ferrosilicon must be no less than 70%, the aluminum content no more than 2%, the calcium content no more than 1%, the manganese content no more than 0.6%, the phosphorus content no more than 0.04%, the sulfur content no more than 0.02%, and the carbon content no more than 0.2%.

 

Common sizes include 0-3mm, 0-10mm, 3-8mm, 10-50mm, 10-60mm, and 10-100mm, and can also be customized according to customer needs.
