Silicon Metal 3303 is a high-grade industrial silicon manufactured in accordance. The four-digit grade code represents industry standard impurity indicators: Fe ≤0.3%, Al ≤0.3%, Ca ≤0.03%, with total silicon content reaching ≥99.3%.

 

Compared with mainstream grades such as Si441 and Si553, it has stricter impurity control; compared with ultra-high purity 2202 silicon metal, it has a more competitive cost advantage. It is specially developed for high-end aluminum alloy anodization, organosilicon synthesis, semiconductor raw materials and high-strength castings, and is a cost-effective high-purity silicon source for mid-to-high-end manufacturing.

Production process

 

We adopt mature submerged arc furnace smelting technology with strict whole-process control to ensure stable product quality:

 

Raw Material Preparation: Select high-purity silica (SiO₂) and low-impurity carbonaceous reducing agents (coke, charcoal) to control raw material impurities from the source.

High-temperature Smelting: Raw materials are mixed proportionally and put into the furnace for carbothermal reduction at 1800-2000℃. The main chemical reaction: SiO₂+2C→Si+2CO↑.

Refining & Forming: The molten silicon liquid is refined to remove trace impurities, then cast into silicon ingots.

Crushing & Screening: Process ingots into lump, granule and powder products of various particle sizes according to customer requirements.
