Production process


Raw material preparation:

Ores or concentrates containing silicon, calcium, manganese and other elements are selected as the main raw materials, such as silica, limestone, manganese ore, etc. These raw materials need to be screened and pretreated to ensure that their size and purity meet the production requirements. At the same time, an appropriate amount of coke or coal needs to be added as a reducing agent.

Smelting:

Add the prepared raw materials to an electric furnace or other furnace in a certain proportion for smelting. At high temperatures, the oxides in the raw materials react chemically with the reducing agent to form a CaSiMn alloy. During the smelting process, parameters such as temperature, slag composition and smelting time need to be strictly controlled to ensure the quality and composition of the alloy.

Refining:

The alloy liquid after smelting may contain some impurities and gases, and needs to be refined. By adding some refining agents such as fluorite and alumina to the alloy liquid, impurities and gases can be removed and the purity and performance of the alloy can be improved.

Casting:

After the refined alloy liquid reaches the specified temperature and composition, it is poured into a specific mold for casting and molding to make a silicon calcium manganese alloy product of the required size.
