Composition range: Phosphorus (P) 15%-25% (core functional element), Iron (Fe) 65%-75%, Impurities Si≤3.0%, Mn≤2.5%, C≤1.0%, S≤0.5%;
Core advantages: Low cost, significant strengthening effect; the cost of adding phosphorus is only 1/5-1/3 of that of nickel and chromium, suitable for large-scale production;
Key risks: Excessive phosphorus content (P>0.06% in steel) can easily lead to cold brittleness, requiring strict control of the addition amount.

Steelmaking:
In the steelmaking process, ferro phosphorus is an important alloy additive. An appropriate amount of phosphorus can improve the strength and hardness of steel, especially in the production of some special alloy steels, such as high-strength wear-resistant steel and corrosion-resistant steel. Casting industry:
In casting alloys, phosphorus iron can adjust the fluidity of the alloy. It can lower the melting point of the alloy, making it easier for the alloy to fill the mold cavity during the casting process, thereby improving the molding quality of the casting.
