Calcium silicon cored wire feeding technology is an out-of-furnace refining method that has emerged in recent years and is widely used in the wire feeding technology of modern steel smelting. Alloy cored wire is used for steelmaking. It can purify molten steel, change the shape of inclusions, improve the castability and mechanical properties of molten steel, and can significantly increase the yield of ferroalloys and reduce steelmaking costs. Its economic effect is significant. The use of wire feeding technology has greater advantages than powder spraying and direct addition of alloy blocks.
1. The wire feeding method can fine-tune the composition of the molten steel (e.g. B, Ti elements), and the alloy yield is greatly increased (Ca can be close to 30%).
2. The wire feeding method is used to treat molten steel. The reaction of the molten steel is smooth and uniform, preventing secondary oxidation. The floating rate of inclusions is slow, the composition is uniform, and it is good for purifying the molten steel.
3. The wire feeding method can avoid bringing gas into the molten steel.
4. The wire feeding method has strong adaptability, low one-time investment, small occupation area and wide application range.
5. The wire feeding method has simple equipment, easy operation and no environmental pollution.
