Low Aluminum Ferrosilicon FeSi75 (Al ≤0.5%) adopts secondary slag refining technology during submerged arc furnace smelting to strictly limit aluminum impurity below 0.5%, with silicon content controlled at 72%~80%.
Ordinary FeSi75 contains Al 1.0~2.0%, which generates high-melting-point Al₂O₃ clusters during molten steel deoxidation, causing nozzle clogging, pinholes and fatigue defects. Low-aluminum FerroSilicon 75 optimizes deoxidation product morphology, greatly improves molten steel cleanliness. It is the exclusive deoxidizer for high-end clean steel including bearing steel, electrical silicon steel, automotive sheet steel and high-grade ductile iron. Our factory supplies lump/granule full sizes and supports ultra-low Al≤0.2 customized grades.
Features
High hardness:
Compared with ordinary steel, Aluminum 0.5 Low Aluminum Ferrosilicon has higher hardness and can be used to manufacture parts that require wear resistance.
Good corrosion resistance:
Silicon element can react with oxides to form silicates, forming a protective film on the surface of the alloy, thereby improving the corrosion resistance of the alloy.
Good thermal stability:
It can maintain stable performance in high temperature environment, and is not prone to deformation or performance degradation.

Aluminum seriously damages magnetic permeability of silicon steel. Low Al FeSi75% is the mandatory deoxidizer for grain-oriented & non-oriented electrical steel, reduce iron loss of transformer cores.

Prevent tiny alumina inclusions causing bearing fatigue cracking; optimize surface quality of automotive deep drawing steel without stamping cracks.
