Ferrosilicon powder: Ferrosilicon is an alloy of iron and silicon. Ferrosilicon is ground into powder. It is mainly used as a deoxidizer in steel and iron making.which is used as a deoxidizer for steelmaking and ironmaking.

Uses of ferrosilicon powder
Steelmaking field:
Deoxidizer: The silicon in ferrosilicon powder has a strong affinity with oxygen. During steelmaking, it can react with oxygen in molten steel to remove oxygen, play a deoxidation role, reduce the oxygen content in molten steel, reduce defects such as pores and inclusions in steel, and improve the quality and performance of steel. It is used in the production of various structural steels, alloy steels, etc.
Alloy additives: It can supplement silicon elements for molten steel and adjust the chemical composition of steel. The addition of silicon elements can improve the strength, hardness, elastic limit and other mechanical properties of steel, and can also improve the casting performance and welding performance of steel, so as to meet the diversified performance requirements of different steel grades.
Foundry industry: In casting production, it is often used as an inoculant. Storage and Transportation

Storage: FeSi powder should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse to avoid moisture, because moisture may cause chemical reactions such as oxidation, affecting its quality. At the same time, it should be stored separately from corrosive or chemically reactive substances such as acids, alkalis, and oxidants to prevent unexpected chemical reactions from causing product deterioration.
Transportation: It is usually transported in sealed packaging, such as plastic woven bags, ton bags, or sealed barrels, to prevent ferrosilicon powder from scattering, getting damp, and having poor contact with the external environment during transportation, ensuring that it can be safely and intactly transported to the destination.
