Ferro Silicon Calcium (short name Ca alloy / CaSi) is ternary iron-based composite ferroalloy , composed of Ca, Si, Fe as core active elements, with trace Al, P, S controlled within low limits.

Different from single ferrosilicon only with simple deoxidation function, CaSi integrates deep deoxidation, desulfurization, alumina inclusion modification and molten steel heating four core effects. Calcium has far stronger affinity for O, S, N than silicon; it converts hard angular Al₂O₃ into low-melting spherical calcium aluminate, completely solving continuous casting tundish nozzle clogging defect. Widely used in automotive IF steel, pipeline steel, bearing steel and ductile iron foundries.
