Product Introduction
Magnesite powder is a powder made from magnesite. Its chemical composition mainly includes MgO (magnesium oxide), usually containing 43-47% MgO, and minor components include impurities such as CaO, FeO, MnO, Al2O3 and SiO2. It has the characteristics of high temperature stability, fire resistance and chemical stability. The magnesium content is generally required to be ≥40%; impurity content, usually silicon dioxide content ≤6%; moisture content ≤4%; size: common ones are 200 mesh, 0-3mm, etc.

Magnesite powder is mainly used in the following fields
• Refractory materials
Magnesite powder after high-temperature calcination can be made into magnesia sand, which is used to make refractory bricks, refractory crucibles, etc. It is widely used in high-temperature kiln linings in the steel, glass, cement and other industries. It can withstand high temperatures, resist slag erosion, and extend the service life of kilns.
• Building materials industry
It can be used as the main raw material for the production of magnesium oxychloride cement, and then produce fireproof boards, ventilation ducts, wall panels, roof panels and other building materials. These products have good fireproof, heat-insulating and sound-insulating properties.
• Chemical industry
It is an important raw material for extracting metallic magnesium and magnesium compounds. It can also be used as a neutralizer to treat acid-containing waste gas, wastewater and fluorine-containing, organic waste liquid, etc., which is of great significance to environmental protection.
• Rubber industry
Lightweight magnesite powder can be used as an accelerator and activator for rubber and fluororubber, which can improve the vulcanization efficiency and physical properties of rubber; it can also be used as a polishing agent, adhesive and paper filler to improve the surface gloss and quality of the product.
• Optical field

In steel mills, magnesite powder can be used as a flux for sintered ore, adjust the pH of slag, improve the fluidity and stability of slag, thereby improving the quality of sintered ore, reducing fuel consumption, and increasing steel production.
