Rare earth ferro silicon magnesium alloy is a multi-element alloy widely used in the foundry industry, and is generally produced by electric furnace smelting. Raw materials such as ore containing rare earth elements, magnesium ore, ferrosilicon, etc. are added to the electric furnace in a certain proportion and smelted at high temperature.
Mainly used in the production of ductile iron. In the casting process of ductile iron, adding an appropriate amount of rare earth fesimg alloy can spheroidize graphite, thereby improving the mechanical properties of cast iron such as strength, toughness, ductility and wear resistance. It is widely used in machinery manufacturing, automobile industry, pipe manufacturing and other fields, such as manufacturing automobile engine cylinder lumps, crankshafts, gears, and various mechanical parts, ductile iron pipes, etc.
