At room temperature, calcium silicon granules have good chemical stability and are not easy to react violently with oxygen, moisture, etc. in the air. However, in special environments such as high temperature or humidity, the Si and Ca in the calcium silicon granules may react with the surrounding substances. For example, in a high-temperature steelmaking furnace environment, calcium silicon granules will react with oxygen, sulfur and other elements in molten steel to play its deoxidation and desulfurization functions.

The production process of casi cored wire usually includes the following steps

PREPARE RAW MATERIALS

Select appropriate casi alloy granules and strip steel. The chemical composition and size of silicon calcium alloy granules need to meet the requirements. Strip steel usually uses low carbon steel, and its width and thickness are determined according to the specifications of the cored wire.

STRIP STEEL PRETREATMENT

Clean and anneal the strip steel to remove oil and impurities on the surface and improve its toughness and ductility. Annealing can also eliminate the internal stress of the strip steel and prevent breakage during the winding process.

WRAPPING FORMING
